استقبل سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم السيدة كمفورت آيرو، رئيسة مجموعة الأزمات الدولية، وتبادل وجهات النظر حول تطورات المشهد السياسي في العراق والمنطقة، وتأثير المتغيرات الدولية على العراق والساحة الدولية، وجدد التأكيد على أن العراق يعيش حالة استقرار غير مسبوقة على المستويات السياسية والاجتماعية والأمنية وحتى الاقتصادية، كما يشهد حملة تنموية شاملة حولته إلى ورشة عمل في جميع المحافظات.أوضح أن الانتخابات القادمة في العراق تُعد مفصلية من حيث الدور الذي تلعبه في التحول إلى مرحلة الاستقرار المستدام، ومن هنا ندعو العراقيين إلى المشاركة الفاعلة والواعية فيها أكدنا أيضا خلال اللقاء أهمية خطاب الاعتدال والوسطية وأثره في خلق أجواء إيجابية أشرنا إلى أن العراق يتعامل مع المتغيرات الإقليمية والدولية من منطلق المصلحة الوطنية واحترام السيادة الوطنية وحسن الجوار، وتمني لسوريا الاستقرار، ودعى سماحته  إلى حفظ تمثيل المكونات في هذا البلد لضمان استقراره جدد دعوته إلى أهمية الحوار لحل الإشكاليات العالقة، وأكد أن جلسات الحوار التي تشهدها المنطقة تصب في مصلحة استقرارها وأمن بلدانها، حيث دعى إلى المزيد من هذه الجلسات وصولًا إلى الهدف المنشود الذي تنتظره شعوب المنطقة كافة.

Today, we welcomed Ms. Comfort Ero, President of the International Crisis Group, for a discussion on the latest political developments in Iraq and the wider region, as well as the impact of global changes on both Iraq and the international landscape. We reaffirmed that Iraq is currently experiencing an exceptional phase of stability—politically, socially, security-wise, and even economically—accompanied by a broad-based development drive that has effectively turned the entire country into a hub of progress.We highlighted that the upcoming elections will be a defining moment, playing a crucial role in advancing toward long-term stability. In this regard, we encouraged the Iraqi people to participate actively and consciously in the electoral process.We also underscored the value of moderate and centrist rhetoric and its role in fostering a positive and constructive atmosphere.Furthermore, we noted that Iraq's approach to regional and international shifts is rooted in safeguarding national interests, upholding sovereignty, and maintaining good neighborly relations. We expressed our wishes for Syria’s stability and stressed the importance of inclusive representation of all societal components as a foundation for lasting peace.We reiterated the need for dialogue as a key tool in resolving outstanding issues, emphasizing that the ongoing dialogue initiatives in the region contribute to its overall security and stability. We called for continued and expanded engagement in such efforts to realize the aspirations shared by the region’s peoples.
