التقي  سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس النواب، الأستاذ محسن المندلاوي، وتبادل التهاني بمناسبة عيد الفطر المبارك، ودعى إلى جعل العيد مناسبة لتقريب وجهات النظر حول المسائل الخلافية.  أكد أهمية استثمار ما تبقى من عمر مجلس النواب في دورته الحالية لإقرار القوانين المتبقية، مع التأكيد على أهمية الدور الرقابي للمجلس. كما شدد على ضرورة الحفاظ على ما تحقق من استقرار على المستويات السياسية والاجتماعية والاقتصادية والأمنية، ودعى إلى العمل على تعزيز ثقة المواطن بالجهاز التنفيذي للدولة من خلال إنجاز المشاريع التنموية والخدمية.  أكد أيضًا ضرورة مواجهة التحديات بمزيد من الوحدة الوطنية، وأشاد  بالجهوزية الأمنية والعسكرية  وجدد  إدانته لاستئناف العمليات العسكرية من قبل الكيان الإسرائيلي تجاه قطاع غزة، ودعى إلى فك الحصار وإغاثة النازحين.

This evening, we met with the First Deputy Speaker, Mr. Muhsin Al-Mandalawi, and exchanged Eid Al-Fitr greetings. We emphasized the importance of using this occasion to converge views on key issues.We stressed the need to make the most of the remaining time in the current parliamentary session to pass pending legislation while reaffirming the Parliament’s critical oversight role. Additionally, we highlighted the importance of preserving the political, social, economic, and security stability achieved so far. Strengthening public trust in the government was also a key point, which can be accomplished through the implementation of development and service projects.Furthermore, we underscored the necessity of addressing challenges with greater national unity and commended the readiness of security and military forces. We reaffirmed our condemnation of the israeli entity’s renewed military operations against Gaza and called for lifting the blockade and providing urgent aid to displaced civilians.
