التقي  سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم  بالقائم بأعمال سفارة الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في بغداد، سعادة السيد دانيال روبنشتاين، حيث تناول اللقاء تطورات الأوضاع المحلية والإقليمية وشؤون المنطقة، أعرب سماحته عن قلقه إزاء تجدد عدوان الكيان الإسرائيلي على غزة، وجدد دعوته إلى تعزيز الأمن والسلام عبر الحوار وتغليب المنطق، مع تجنب الحروب وتداعياتها الخطيرة.أكد أن العراق يتمتع بتجربة رائدة في مكافحة الإرهاب، وهو قادر على مواجهة جميع التحديات الأمنية، كما شدد على أهمية تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين بما يخدم مصالح الطرفين ويحفظ سيادة العراق واستقلال قراره.أشار أيضًا إلى الفرص الواعدة التي يمتلكها العراق في جميع المجالات، ودعى الشركات الأمريكية إلى استثمار هذه الفرص بما يعزز الشراكة بين البلدين، و يدعم الاقتصاد العراقي، ويسهم في تبادل الخبرات، وأكد حرص العراق على تطوير علاقاته مع المجتمع الدولي وانفتاحه عليه

.This afternoon, we met with the Chargé d'Affaires of the United States Embassy in Baghdad, H.E. Daniel Rubinstein, to discuss local and regional developments. During the meeting, we voiced our concern over the renewed aggression of the Israeli entity against Gaza. We reiterated the need to promote security and peace through dialogue and reason, while avoiding war and its serious repercussions.  We emphasized Iraq’s extensive experience in counterterrorism and its ability to confront security challenges. Additionally, we underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral relations to serve mutual interests while safeguarding Iraq’s sovereignty and independent decision-making.  We also highlighted Iraq’s vast investment opportunities across various sectors and encouraged American companies to explore these prospects, fostering greater partnership, boosting the Iraqi economy, and facilitating knowledge exchange. Moreover, we reaffirmed Iraq’s commitment to strengthening its international relations and maintaining an open stance toward global openness.
