التقي سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم جمعاً من شيوخ ووجهاء عشائر النجف تتقدمهم قبيلة آل عيسى الكريمة ممثلة بجناب الشيخ عبود وحيد ، واستذكرنا التاريخ المشترك الذي جمعنا بهم، وأشرنا إلى تاريخ هذه المدينة وانتمائها لعلي (عليه السلام) والحوزة العلمية. كما استذكرنا الظروف التي صاحبت إنشاء مطار النجف الأشرف حتى الوصول إلى افتتاح هذا المطار الحيوي والمهم في فترة قصيرة. وبيّنا أهمية الحفاظ عليه وإبعاده عن التجاذبات السياسية، ودعونا لدعم المطار وتطويره لتحويله إلى أيقونة بين مطارات العالم.

This morning, we met with several sheiks and dignitaries from clans of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf led by the Honorable Al Essa Tribe, represented by the Honorable Sheikh Abood Waheed. We recalled the shared history and stated the history of this city and it's affiliation with Imam Ali (Peace Be Upon Him) and the Religious Hawza.we recalled the conditions that coincided with building Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Airport until the opening of this vital airport in a short period of time.we illustrated the importance of preserving it and keeping it far from political disputes. we called to support the airport, develop, and transform it into an icon amongst the International Airports.
