التقي سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم  جناب الشيخ طارق الغزالي، بحضور محافظ النجف الأشرف الأستاذ يوسف گناوي و رئيس كتلة قوى الدولة في مجلس المحافظة الأستاذ فاروق الغزالي، واستذكر في معرض اللقاء العلاقة التاريخية التي جمعته بعشيرة الغزالات الكريمة والمحطات الفاصلة فيها في مواجهة الدكتاتورية وبناء العراق الجديد، وأكد أهمية الخدمة في محافظة النجف الأشرف لما لهذه المدينة من خصائص أولها أنها مدينة أمير المؤمنين علي (عليه السلام) ومدينة الحوزة العلمية والمرجعية الدينية المباركة، وحمّل الجميع مسؤولية تحقيق هذا الهدف المنشود.أشار إلى أهمية مجالس المحافظات باعتبارها الترجمة الحقيقية للامركزية التي نص عليها الدستور، كما شدد على دعم المحافظات ومنح الحكومات المحلية صلاحياتها الدستورية.

We met with Sheikh Tariq Al-Ghazali, in the presence of Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf Governor Mr. Youssef Gannawi and the president of the State Powers Bloc in the Provincial Council, Mr. Farouq Al-Ghazali. During the meeting, we reflected on the historical ties with the esteemed Al-Ghazalat tribe and the pivotal moments we shared in confronting dictatorship and building a new Iraq.We emphasized the importance of serving Al-Najaf Al-Ashraf, given its unique status as the city of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the center of the Hawza, and the seat of the revered religious authority. We entrusted all attendees with the responsibility of achieving this vital goal.We highlighted the significance of provincial councils as the true embodiment of the decentralization enshrined in the constitution. We also stressed the need to support provinces and grant local governments their constitutional powers
