التقي سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم  معالي وزير النقل الأستاذ رزاق محيبس، واستمع منه إلى شرح مفصل حول جهود وزارة النقل في خدمة المواطنين والارتقاء بالمنشآت والمرافئ الحيوية في هذه الوزارة التي من شأنها تقديم أفضل الخدمات وأيضا رفد الموازنة العامة وتعزيز الإيرادات.أكد الأتمتة وإدخال التكنلوجيا الحديثة في الخدمات، وقال سماحته إن وزارة النقل تضم ملفات استراتيجية وتفصيلية تمس الواقع اليومي للمواطن، ودعونا للموازنة بين ملفات الوزارة كي يتلمس المواطن أثر هذه الخدمات في حياته اليومية.أشار أيضا لضرورة الارتقاء بالنواقل الوطنية والاهتمام بجودة الخدمة وتحديث الأساطيل ومواصلة تدريب الملاكات، والتركيز على ميناء الفاو وطريق التنمية باعتبارهما من المشاريع التي يمكن أن تنقل العراق من حال إلى حال.كما أكد ضرورة الاهتمام بالنقل الخاص من خلال تحديث وتطوير المرائب الخاصة بالنقل ومواصلة فتح الخطوط بما يتناسب مع الاحتياجات اليومية للمواطن فضلا عن دعم السكك الحديد ومشاريعها شدد على مكافحة الفساد والتصدي لحالات التلاعب أو حالات عرقلة المشاريع لمصالح خاصة.

This morning, we met with His Excellency the Minister of Transport, Mr. Razzaq Muhaibas, and received a comprehensive overview of the Ministry’s efforts to serve citizens and advance key facilities and ports. These initiatives aim to enhance service delivery, contribute to the states budget, and boost revenue.We underscored the importance of automation and the adoption of modern technologies across services. We also highlighted that the Ministry oversees both strategic and operational files that closely affect citizens' daily lives, and we stressed the need to strike a balance among these files to ensure that people experience tangible improvements.We further emphasized the importance of strengthening national carriers, improving service quality, modernizing fleets, and continuing workforce training. We also urged greater focus on Al-Faw Port and the Development Road, as both projects hold the potential to significantly shift Iraq’s economic from one state to another.Additionally, we called for greater focus on the private transport sector through the modernization of transport terminals and the continued expansion of routes to better meet daily public needs. We also reiterated our support for the railway sector and its ongoing projects.Finally, we reaffirmed the need to combat corruption and address any instances of manipulation or obstruction of projects driven by personal interests.
