لقاء سماحة السيد عمار الحكيم  بالسفير التركي في بغداد، سعادة السيد "أنيل بورا إنان"، وكانت فرصة لمناقشة العلاقات بين العراق وتركيا، ومستجدات الشأن السياسي في العراق والمنطقة، بالإضافة إلى الملفات ذات الاهتمام المشترك. وأكد أن مواجهة تنظيم داعش هي مسؤولية تضامنية تقع على عاتق كل دول المنطقة، وأن العراق يمتلك تجربة رائدة في محاربة الإرهاب.أعرب عن ترحيبه بأي جهد إقليمي لحل مشاكل المنطقة وعلى رأسها القضاء على الإرهاب والتطرف، ودعى لتفعيل اتفاقيات الشراكة مع تركيا في إدارة ملف المياه وتطوير القطاع الزراعي. وأوضح أن تعدد منافذ تصدير النفط العراقي يعود إيجابياً على الاقتصاد العراقي.جدد دعمه لإشاعة مفاهيم التعايش السلمي، ودعى إلى تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين بما يخدم مصالح الشعبين الصديقين، وأكد مجدداً أن العراق يشهد حالة استقرار أمني وسياسي واجتماعي

.During our meeting with His Excellency Mr. Anil Bora İnan, the Turkish Ambassador to Baghdad, we had a valuable chance to explore the state of Iraq-Turkey relations, review recent political shifts in Iraq and the broader region, and examine various issues of shared concern. We underscored that fighting ISIS is a collective obligation for every nation in the area and emphasized Iraq’s leading role in countering terrorism.We welcomed any regional initiatives aimed at resolving the challenges facing our region, particularly those focused on eradicating terrorism and extremism, and we advocated for the revival of partnership agreements with Turkey regarding water resource management and agricultural development. We also noted that broadening the channels for exporting Iraqi oil benefits the national economy.Furthermore, we reaffirmed our commitment to promoting peaceful coexistence and encouraged deepening bilateral ties that serve the interests of both our friendly nations and people. We concluded by stressing that Iraq is currently enjoying a period of security, political, and social stability.
